ECOSISTEMA PRATO

L’ecosistema PRATO è stato oggetto di studio scientifico dei partners italiani e sloveni (circa 60 studenti) durante il 10° e 11° incontro del progetto BIODIVERSITY 2015. La giornata del 31 marzo sul Carso a Basovizza ha permesso di riconoscere, fotografare e campionare fiori e insetti in un’ area  erbosa delimitata, operando in gruppi misti con l’ausilio di chiavi di determinazione ( come risulta dal file allegato)

La giornata del 17 aprile si è svolta invece presso l’orto botanico di Udine, dove gli studenti del Malignani hanno introdotto agli ospiti la flora e l’habitat delle risorgive friulane ( fra le più importanti d’Europa), identificando i diversi tipi di piante della TORBIERA e dei MAGREDI ( vedi scheda allegata)

In entrambi gli incontri gli studenti hanno raccolto dati relativi a luce, temperatura e umidità e  li hanno confrontati per giungere a conclusioni condivise sulle osservazioni effettuate e trovare somiglianze e differenze (riportate nella scheda allegata).

The MEADOW was the object of scientific study for the Italian and Slovenian partners ( about 60 students) during the 10th and 11th meeting of the project BIODIVERSITY 2015. As shown by the attached worksheet, the students met in Basovizza ( the Carso area near Trieste) on 31st March 2015 to work on the field in mixed groups. They identified, photographed and classified flowers and insects with the help of dichotomic keys and visual guides.

April 17th was dedicated to a visit to the botanical gardens of Udine university, where the Malignani students introduced their guests to the flora and fauna of the alkaline fens and dry grassland, using a worksheet to spot the different species.

In both sessions the participants collected data related to light, temperature and humidity and eventually compared them to draw conclusions about similarities and differences of the two habitats. The interesting results of the active observation and reflection can be downloaded here.
